Rules For Sweepstakes

1. Sponsor. This Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) is sponsored by Sootch00, LLC (hereinafter referred to as the “Sponsor”), with its principal mailing address at Sootchgear, P.O. Box 51185, Piedmont, South Carolina 29673.
2. Eligibility. The Sweepstakes is open exclusively to legal residents of the United States of America who, as of the date of entry, have attained the age of at least twenty-one (21) years or the minimum legal age required to own a firearm in their jurisdiction of residence, whichever is greater. All entrants must be fully eligible to own and possess a firearm pursuant to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Employees, officers, directors, and immediate family members (including spouses, parents, children, siblings, and their respective spouses) of the Sponsor, as well as any individuals residing in the same household as such persons, whether related or not, are ineligible to enter or win. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations and shall be void where prohibited or restricted by law. Entrants must possess or have access to a licensed Federal Firearms License (“FFL”) dealer for receipt of the prize, and all transfers shall be conducted in strict compliance with applicable laws. Ace Firearms, located in Easley, S.C., will facilitate the transfer of the prize.
3. Entry Period. The Sweepstakes shall commence on August 6, 2025, and conclude on September 15, 2025 (the “Entry Period”). All mail-in entries must be postmarked no later than September 15, 2025, and received by the Sponsor no later than September 22, 2025. Entries submitted via other methods must be received during the Entry Period or as otherwise specified herein.
4. Method of Entry. Multiple methods of entry are available, all of which provide free entry options, although optional purchases or actions may afford additional entries. Each entrant is limited to one (1) free entry per person via the website form. Additional entries may be obtained as set forth below. By submitting an entry, each entrant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which shall be final and binding in all respects. a. Free Website Entry. To enter without purchase, entrants shall visit the giveaway website (as designated on the Sponsor’s site) and complete the entry form during the Entry Period, thereby receiving one (1) free entry. b. Purchase-Based Additional Entries. In support of the Sponsor’s new merchandise offerings, entrants may optionally purchase eligible items (consisting of two (2) new t-shirts and two (2) new hats) from the Sponsor’s website during the Entry Period. Each such item purchased shall confer ten (10) additional entries upon the entrant. Purchases are entirely optional and shall not enhance the odds of winning beyond the provision of such additional entries. c. Mail-In Additional Entries. To ensure parity without requiring purchase, entrants may mail (1) postcard to Sootchgear, P.O. Box 51185, Piedmont, South Carolina 29673. Such postcard must be postmarked no later than September 15, 2025, and received by the Sponsor no later than September 22, 2025. Each valid postcard shall confer ten (10) additional entries. The postcard must be legible hand-printing, on a 3”x 5” card and contain the following information: (i) the entrant’s full name; (ii) date of birth; (iii) email address; (iv) mailing address; (v) telephone number; (vi) the name of the website (e.g., Sootchgear.com or the giveaway site); and (vii) the exact phrase “SWEEPSTAKES GIVEAWAY 8/6/2025” mailing the card in a #10 business-sized envelope, with proper postage affixed. Entrants are limited to (1) post card per envelope.  Mechanically reproduced, incomplete, illegible, or otherwise non-compliant entries shall be deemed invalid. The Sponsor reserves the absolute right, in its sole discretion, to determine the validity of any entry for any reason, including but not limited to illegibility or omission of required information. d. Labor Day Promotion – Mail-In Entries Multiplier.
   As part of a limited-time Labor Day promotion, each valid mail-in postcard received in accordance with Section (c) above will confer one hundred (100) additional entries instead of ten (10). To qualify for this promotion, postcards must be postmarked no later than September 2, 2025 All other requirements set forth in Section (c) remain in full effect.
   e. X (Formerly Twitter) Additional Entries. Entrants may receive one (1) additional entry for each of the following actions, up to a maximum of two (2) additional entries in total: (i) following Sootch00@Sootch00 on X and reposting the official Sweepstakes post; and/or (ii) following SensiblePrepper@SensebIePrepper on X and reposting the official Sweepstakes post. To claim such entries, the sponsor will confirm via the follow and repost lists. 
5. Prize. There shall be one (1) grand prize awarded: a firearm reviewed by Sootch (the “Prize”) and accessories.  The approximate retail value of the Prize shall be determined by the Sponsor; if such value exceeds Six Hundred Dollars ($600.00), the winner shall be issued an IRS Form 1099. The Prize shall be transferred to the winner via a licensed FFL dealer at no cost to the winner. The winner shall bear sole responsibility for any applicable background checks, fees, taxes, or other costs associated with firearm ownership and receipt. No substitution, assignment, transfer, or cash redemption of the Prize shall be permitted, except that the Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the original Prize becomes unavailable for any reason.
6. Winner Selection and Notification. One (1) winner shall be selected by random drawing from among all eligible entries received, on or about September 25, 2025. The odds of winning shall depend upon the total number of eligible entries received. The potential winner shall be notified via email within three (3) days following the drawing. The potential winner must respond within five (5) days of notification and furnish confirmation of eligibility, including but not limited to proof of age, legal eligibility to own a firearm, and details of a licensed FFL dealer for Prize transfer. Should the potential winner fail to meet legal requirements, fail to respond timely, or otherwise be deemed ineligible, such potential winner shall be disqualified, and an alternate winner shall be selected by random drawing. This process shall continue until a qualified winner is selected and confirmed. The Prize shall be awarded within ten (10) days of winner confirmation, at no expense to the winner, in full compliance with the laws of the State of South Carolina. The winner shall be publicly announced on September 25, 2025, via the Sponsor’s website and/or X accounts.
7. General Conditions. The Sponsor shall not be responsible or liable for any delays arising for any reason whatsoever, including but not limited to delays in postal service delivery, internet connectivity failures, or any other human or non-human errors. Entries that are late, lost, stolen, illegible, contain false or misleading information, damaged, misdirected, mutilated, garbled, incomplete, or otherwise defective shall be void and ineligible. The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, suspend, or modify the Sweepstakes, or any part thereof, if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond the Sponsor’s reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Sweepstakes. By entering the Sweepstakes, each entrant hereby releases, discharges, and holds harmless the Sponsor, its affiliates, agents, and representatives from any and all liability, claims, demands, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with participation in the Sweepstakes or the acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of the Prize. Entrants further agree and consent that the Sponsor may use their name for the purpose of announcing winner.
8. Privacy. Personal information collected from entrants shall be used solely for the purpose of administering the Sweepstakes and fulfilling the Prize and shall not be disclosed to third parties except as necessary for such administration and fulfillment.
9. Governing Law. These Official Rules shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of South Carolina, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law principles that would result in the application of the laws of any other jurisdiction. Any disputes arising hereunder shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located within South Carolina.
10. Winner List. To obtain the name of the winner, interested parties may send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to the Sponsor at the address set forth in Section 1 above, with such request to be received within thirty (30) days following the conclusion of the Entry Period.
